A Journey from Corporate Leadership to Modern Home Building in Northwest Arkansas. My career is a testament to the power of reinvention and the pursuit of new passions. With a background steeped in corporate finance and accounting, I’ve made a successful transition from a Senior Director in Corporate SEC Reporting to becoming a passionate home builder in Northwest Arkansas, an area known for its scenic beauty and growing real estate market. My professional journey began with a strong foundation in accounting and finance working on Wall Street for Morgan Stanley and Fitch Ratings to Northwest Arkansas to work for Walmart and Car-mart. Armed with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations, I quickly distinguished myself as a skilled financial expert. My ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and manage large-scale financial operations made me an asset in the corporate world. While successful in my corporate role, I’ve always had a personal interest in architecture and construction. My passion for design and craftsmanship began to grow during my spare time as I worked on small home improvement projects and developed a keen eye for modern design. Over time, this hobby evolved into a larger ambition—one that would eventually shape the course of my professional life.

A New Passion: Modern Home Building in Northwest Arkansas

After years of working in the high-pressure world of finance, I’ve  decided to pursue a career that would allow me to blend my entrepreneurial spirit with my creative instincts. The decision to leave corporate finance was not made lightly, but it was driven by a deep desire to follow my passion for construction and design. I set my sights on Northwest Arkansas, a region that had seen rapid growth and development, especially in the real estate market. Embracing this new path, I used my business acumen and financial expertise to establish my own construction company, focusing on building high-quality modern homes. Drawing inspiration from minimalist design principles, sustainable materials, and innovative building techniques, I’ve aimed to deliver homes that were not only visually striking but also environmentally conscious and energy-efficient. My success story is an inspiring example of how one can pivot from a successful corporate career to pursue a passion and find fulfillment in a completely new industry. Looking ahead, I remain committed to expanding my company and continuing to innovate in the world of modern home construction. Through my work,  I continue to build not just homes but also a legacy of craftsmanship, quality, and integrity. Kelly Nembhard

Kelly Nembhard is a dynamic and driven individual with a passion for both business and design. As a full-time student at the University of Arkansas, she is currently pursuing a degree in General Business with a minor in interior design. Kelly’s dedication to her education is matched by her entrepreneurial spirit. She also works as an interior designer and social media manager for Nemreal, a business she plays an integral role in building. This combination of business acumen and creative flair has set Kelly on a path toward achieving her goals and inspiring others along the way.

Her journey to success has been anything but conventional. Originally envisioning a future as a neurosurgeon, Kelly’s passion shifted over time, and today she thrives in the world of interior design and real estate. With her plans to obtain her real estate license and eventually become a licensed broker, Kelly is determined to make her mark in the real estate industry. She aspires to list Nemreal homes she and her team designs, taking her love for crafting dream spaces to the next level by helping clients find the perfect property to call home.

Being a young woman navigating the challenges of being both a full-time student and full-time professional, Kelly has developed a strong work ethic and resilience that fuels her ambition. While balancing multiple responsibilities can be tough, it’s the valuable lessons she learns along the way that keep her pushing forward. Kelly’s journey is not just about success—it’s about showing other young men and women that they too can achieve greatness, regardless of the obstacles they face.

One of Kelly’s greatest passions is connecting with her clients. Whether she is working on designing homes or helping clients bring their dream spaces to life, she thrives on the personal connections she builds along the way. Her love for interior design began as a hobby, rooted in her childhood years of playing Sims 4, where she would spend hours designing and remodeling homes. What started as a fun pastime eventually turned into a dream come true as she transitioned from virtual homes to real-world projects.

Fabian Holness

Fabian is a highly skilled and versatile professional at Nemreal Development & Remodeling, bringing extensive experience in project management, supply chain management, facilities management, maintenance systems and customer service. With a proven track record of operational efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction, he is dedicated to driving success and continuous improvement.

Fabian excels at streamlining operational processes, ensuring cost effective and timely delivery of projects, while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability – the core values of Nemreal Development & Remodeling. A strong advocate for customer satisfaction, he is known for effectively addressing client needs and fostering positive relationships. Outside of work, Fabian enjoys quality time with his wife and two boys, follows his favorite sports teams and is an avid reader. This balance of professional expertise and personal fulfillment fuels his innovative approach and positive outlook.

Barrett Thompson

Barrett started his career in the Marine Corps in 2009, completing multiple combat tours where he built the discipline, leadership, and integrity that still guide him today. After his military service, he worked in the steel mill industry before starting at the bottom in construction and working his way up to becoming a Superintendent.

Known for his strong work ethic and ability to connect with people, Barrett enjoys building relationships with homeowners, crews, and subcontractors while making sure every project keeps moving forward. He brings energy, honesty, and a go-getter mentality to every job site.

Above everything, Barrett is a family man. As a proud father of three, his family is his biggest motivation and the reason behind everything he does. Outside of work, he spends as much time as possible hunting, fishing, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with his wife and kids.
